Analytics
This site uses a self-hosted, cookieless analytics system. We do not set cookies for analytics, do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracker (besides Cloudflare's free Web Analytics, which is also cookieless), and do not store IP addresses.
Visitor identity is derived by hashing your IP address + browser user agent with a salt that rotates every 24 hours. The hash is irreversible and cannot be linked across days — meaning we can count "unique visitors today" but cannot recognise a returning visitor across calendar days.
Raw event data is retained for 90 days. Anonymous daily aggregates are retained indefinitely.
We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to read aggregate-only data about searches that led visitors to the site. No personal data is exchanged with these services.
every-company-ever is a free, public-facing directory of Irish companies built on open data from the Companies Registration Office. To keep the site running, we accept affiliate commissions on products we believe may be useful to people researching Irish businesses — small business banking, card payments, accounting software, business mobile, and CRM tools.
How affiliate placements work
You'll see clearly-labelled "Ad" cards on company detail pages, county and sector index pages, and search results. The card may be one of the partners listed below. If you click a link and sign up, the partner pays us a referral fee. You pay nothing extra.
We choose which partner to show based on the page you're on — for example, a card-payments product on a retail-company page, a CRM tool on a software-company page — never based on what would maximise our commission. We do not allow commercial relationships to influence our editorial choices, the order or completeness of company data, or what appears in search results and listings.

Display ads
We do not currently serve display advertising. When we do (a future phase of the site), it will be through Google AdSense or similar networks and will be subject to a cookie consent banner for EU/UK visitors.
Editorial independence
Company facts (CRO number, status, address, directors, NACE class, filing dates) come directly from the CRO open-data feed and are not altered for commercial reasons. AI-written profile summaries are generated from public sources and are not influenced by whether the company has been claimed or sponsored. We do not accept payment to remove or alter factual information about a company.
