The full CRO open data feed is published by Ireland's Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment under an open licence. We don't redistribute the raw feed ourselves — get it straight from the source.

The official CRO open data feed

• data.gov.ie/dataset/companies-register — primary CSV bundle covering the entire Irish Companies Register (~813,000 rows, ~250 MB uncompressed). Updated weekly.
• opendata.cro.ie — additional CRO-published exports including financial-statement metadata and recent filings.

What's in it

The CSV bundle contains every company on the register with these factual fields: CRO number, name, status, legal type, incorporation date, registered address, NACE class, last filing date, dissolution date (if applicable). It does not contain the AI-written profile summaries or the normalised county/sector slugs you see on this site.

Licence

The CRO open data feed is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (via data.gov.ie). Attribution: "Companies Registration Office, data.gov.ie". You can re-use it commercially.

Need our derived data?

Our AI summaries, sector slugs, and county normalisations are not bulk-published. If you have a research use case, email [email protected] and we'll set up a one-off export.
